When we found this magnificent apartment situated on the 1st floor of the prestigious Northgate block located on the southern end of St. John's Wood High Street directly opposite Regent's Park, we were all very excited. It had not been touched for more than 40 years and so we had a delicate but exciting challenge on our hands in that we were keen to respect the traditional nature of the building and architecture whilst bringing a very modern look and feel to the apartment.

The property was as usual stripped right back to the bricks and via some clever moving of walls the space flows better with far more of the previous bits of dead space now brought into use. We managed to create three bedrooms, three bathrooms (all en-suite), a drawing room, kitchen/dining room, utility room & cloakroom whilst still maintaining a spacious feel throughout.

The interior design guys also got to enjoy themselves a bit too as the specification of the apartment needed to be top end. They got to try out some fun things like including motorised top cabinets to the kitchen, using Miele appliances throughout, Villeroy and Boch, Hans Grohe showers Axor (Hans Grohe designer line), Philips Dynalite system and so on were all part of the specification.

Probably our best project to date, the property was then fully staged after which it sold almost immediately to its very happy new owner - who took all the furniture as well!
