Cosybox

This was an extremely tired and unloved old bungalow screaming out for a make-over! It took a lot more work than we anticipated, but we still managed to deliver this one on time and on budget.

The key to this refurbishment was to unlock the back of the house and the complete re-organisation of the internal layout. The entire back of the house was pulled down and rebuilt. The staircase was removed and repositioned. We stripped everything back to brick and for the first time discovered the benefits of using plasterboards directly bonded to insulation.

From a dark claustrophobic space emerged a bright, spacious and modern bungalow. The back garden was completely restored and became a very tranquil and peaceful place to be hidden away from the busy world outside.
